Naval is a highly experienced IT Leader who has been working in various areas of technology for over 17 years. His expertise lies in DevOps, SecOps, FinOps, SRE, Cloud, ContainerOps, and Scaled Agile. He has worked in diverse and globally distributed environments, where he has played a crucial role in helping large organizations undergo Enterprise Agile and Digital Transformations. Naval has served as an Enabler, Practitioner, Mentor, and Speaker on DevSecOps and SRE practices, contributing to the successful implementation of these approaches.
Naval specializes in the five pillars of the DevOps CALMS/CALMR model, which encompasses culture, automation, lean principles, measurement, and sharing. His mission is to bridge the gap between DevOps philosophies and SRE-based implementations, promoting a holistic approach to technology operations.
Naval is skilled at building and leading DevOps teams, as well as spearheading DevOps transformations from scratch. He strongly believes in the principles of servant leadership and leading from behind, adopting an agile mindset in his work. Currently, Naval holds the role of DevOps Manager – IT Systems at one of the Oil Fields major, where he leads efforts and drives solutions for an enterprise wide planning tool across the heirarchy.
